Hi, I’m Garrison!

I inspect every home the way I’d want my own inspected: thoroughly, with straight answers about what matters.

I’ve spent twenty years building and managing construction projects. I know how houses work and where they tend to go wrong. I’m also a homeowner and a landlord, and I know the GTA real estate market. As a home inspector, my goal is to put that experience to work for buyers and sellers, and to give you real insight while you make what is often the biggest financial decision of your life.

Every Garrison inspection is me. I walk every room, get into the attic and fly my drone over the roof, asking myself the same question the whole time: what would I want to know if I were the one considering this home?

Whenever possible, your report arrives the same day. It’s detailed and accurate, with photos of every finding, and organized so you can find what you need quickly. Each finding says what I saw, what it means and what to do about it. Real problems are stated plainly. Normal wear for a home’s age is described as just that, so you can focus on what actually needs attention.

I follow the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors’ Standards of Practice, and I stand behind every finding I write.

Why “Garrison”? My first house sat over Garrison Creek, one of Toronto’s buried creeks, and nobody told me. I’d rather you know what matters before you sign.
